We pride ourselves on the level of care and commitment shown to all of our clients as we focus on their needs and warmly welcome them into the ELM family.

Emily Dent | Retirement Specialist

An international traveller but also a self-confessed “country girl”, Emily's vast and varied life experience has enabled her to relate to everyone she has had the pleasure of meeting. As though her amazing financial planning skills aren’t enough, Emily is also proficient in driving trucks and harvesters - which is exactly what she did to put herself through her financial planning degree at RMIT.
Emily’s passion for providing financial wellbeing for her clients while navigating their retirement led her to taking the leap and establishing ELM Retirement Care in 2016. This provided the ability to focus on a boutique, personal approach to retirement planning, estate planning and Centrelink advice. Emily is a dedicated financial planning superstar and keen to share her knowledge and experience with her valued clients.
When Em isn’t in the office working on financial solutions for her clients, you’re likely to find her cooking up a storm, spending time at the beach with her children Billy & Frankie and husband Lachie, watching football or rolling up her sleeves to tend to the family’s hobby farm. Em is a Run Director at the Westbury Town Common Parkrun as well as a regular local community guest speaker.

Ashley Moore | Retirement Specialist

Our lovely Ashley has spent over a decade working in the finance industry. With a range of roles and experience under her belt, her level of attention to detail and experience is second to none. Ash is professional, friendly and dedicated to providing tailored solutions for our retiree clients. With a Graduate Diploma in financial planning and a commitment to ongoing accreditation, you can be sure she is across all aspects of the industry from the nuts and bolts to current trends.
In her spare time, Ash loves to travel with her partner Alex - be sure to ask her where is next on their list when you are chatting! Spending time with family and friends is also high on the list, as well as walks and park time with her fur baby, Opie the Boston Terrier.

Michael Jordan | Retirement Specialist

Over the past two decades Michael has built a wealth of knowledge and experience in providing quality financial advice in superannuation, retirement planning and estate management. Widely known and respected as an all-round "nice guy", Michael has the rare ability to explain complex issues in a way that can be easily understood. His friendly, patient and calm nature allows him to assist his clients in achieving their goals with confidence and peace of mind.
When Michael isn't in the office you will most likely find him battling on the Greens Beach Golf Course, watching local footy or the bombers on TV or enjoying a weekend outdoors fishing, bushwalking & camping with his wife Anne and two children.

Anne Jordan | Office Manager

The smiling face you see here is the very same face you will see when you step into the ELM office. A sunny disposition and excellent customer service & communication skills are just a couple of the wonderful aspects that our office manager Anne brings to the team.
After graduating from the University of Tasmania in 2000 Anne lived, worked and travelled overseas - encouraging everyone she met to visit her beautiful home state of Tasmania. Anne has worn many hats, working across a wide variety of industries including Hospitality, Microbiology, Adventure Tourism and Real Estate. This varied work and life experience has provided her with the ability to chat, empathise and engage with people from many different corners of life.
Anne has a passion for travel, the outdoors, Tasmanian food & wine and anything adventurous! A self-confessed 'people person' Anne looks forward to meeting you and to ensuring that your experience with ELM is always the best it can possibly be.
Colleen Barnett | Paraplanner

We are incredibly grateful to have Colleen working hard behind the scenes at ELM as an all-round paraplanning superstar! Colleen is responsible for producing accurate, timely and informative advice documents for Emily, Ashley & Michaels clients and her quick wit and quirky nature keep us all entertained when the going gets tough.
Colleen grew up on a farm near Toronto in Canada, studying languages and literacy at university. Colleen met her husband Simon while working on a private charter in the Caribbean and they moved to Tasmania together over 10 years ago. Now, a busy mum with two little girls, Colleen loves to spend her spare time cooking, reading, mountain biking and gardening.
Brodie Towns | Administration Superstar

Brodie joined the team at ELM with extensive administration experience. Having worked in high-pressure and demanding roles that require meticulous attention to detail, he is a wonderful asset to our team & we don’t know what we would do without him.
Brodie’s helpful and easy-going nature and incredible multi-tasking skills have quickly made him our go-to person for 'getting the job done’ in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner. Throughout your journey at ELM, Brodie will keep you updated at all times and looks forward to meeting you.
When he’s not busy at work, Brodie and his partner Damien enjoy spending time with friends and family – particularly delicious wine & cheese, taking part in trivia nights and spending time with their rescue greyhound ‘Joy’.
